Depending on the time of year you are going camping, this list may look a little different. In the summer, you will want lightweight clothes that are breathable since it can get in the high 90s. You’ll also want comfortable shoes depending on what you plan on doing. If you’re going hiking, you’ll want hiking boots. If you want to go to Dollywood, you’ll probably want tennis shoes. In the winter, you should bring layered clothes, such as short and long sleeve shirts, jackets, and heavy outerwear, as well as thick socks and pants. You’ll also want to remember all of your toiletry items, medicines, and other important things you might need.

2. Things to Start a Fire

All of our camp sites include a fire pit and charcoal grills. If you want to cook over a fire while you’re camping, you will need to bring the materials to start a fire. You should pack matches, a lighter, lighter fluid, a magnesium fire starter, or something else. If you plan on using the grill, you should pack some charcoal, but we do sell it at our general store if you forget!

3. Tent and Supplies

There are pads where you can set up your tent for a comfortable stay. Along with your tent, you should bring a sleeping bag, blankets, pillows, and whatever else you may need to be comfortable.

4. Camping Chairs

Whether you want to sit around the fire or enjoy your cup of coffee in the morning, you should pack camping chairs. You won’t want to sit on the ground during your trip, and it would be nice to have chairs to sit in.
