1. Awesome Location

Virtually all of our reviews mentioned our excellent location near downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Here is what guests had to say about where we are situated:

“Greenbrier Campground has a beautiful, natural location and was just a short drive to the National Park.”

“My family has been coming to this campground for close to 15 years. It is the most beautiful natural location I’ve been to. Being completely surrounded by the beautiful creek/stream/river you get the perfect floating, fishing, swimming, rock skipping, gorgeous scenery you look for in a Tennessee vacation.”

“There are plenty of places to explore near the campground, with the Greenbrier Entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park only a short hike away.”

2. Fun Swimming Hole

The Flint Rock swimming hole was a favorite topic for our reviewers. Here is what guests had to say about our campground’s famous swimming hole:

“The kids loved playing in the river and swimming hole, great for cooling off after a long day of hiking or biking!”

“The creeks run down both sides of the campground and our kids loved tubing to the swimming hole every day where they would jump from the rock and play in the water. This is definitely our favorite place by far and is the only place we will stay while in the mountains!”

Many reviewers praised our campground’s peaceful setting. Here is what guests had to say about taking it easy at our campground in the Smokies:

“This has to be the most relaxing campground we have ever stayed at. Most sites are big and have a beautiful canopy of trees. This is perfect for a hybrid or pop up camper. There is a beautiful creek on both sides of the campground. After our first visit to Greenbrier, we haven’t been anywhere else.”

“The campground is in one of the most beautiful areas on the river. Bring your fishing pole or tube. Sit back, lay in your hammock by the river and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.”

“This is a lovely campground that is surrounded by a river. It’s so peaceful and relaxing just to sit and listen to the stream flow and hear the abundance of birds singing throughout. Take a dip in the swimming hole or take a leisurely stroll through the campground. This is the way camping oughta be!”

“Greenbrier Campground is great, and the people who run the campground are so helpful. Our RV broke down, and without their help we don’t know what we would have done. But they were great!”

“The new owners really care about this area. They are very friendly. They know the area and it’s history. I am very impressed. The owners and staff are what true Smoky Mountain hospitality is all about.”
