The Greenbrier entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only a short drive away with miles of hiking trails to enjoy, from the novice to the most experienced hiker, we have you covered. Hiking not your thing? Bring along a fishing pole for trout fishing in the Pigeon River, load up the bicycles for a lovely ride into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, or take a horseback ride through the mountains.
In the evenings, cozy up by the fire for marshmallow roasting and stargazing, or enjoy dinner and live music at many downtown Gatlinburg locations. Greenbrier Campground offers tent camping in our center grass with water and electric close to all campground amenities. We also offer 15 riverside tent sites, with water and electric, a short distance from campground amenities. Depending on your definition of “roughing it”, we have something for everyone.
Greenbrier Campground offers sites for all varieties of RV/campers including premier river sites, pull through sites, and wooded sites. Full hookups including water/sewer, electric and cable are included in each site. The Little Pigeon River runs around the exterior of the property creating a serene ambiance for all campers and a perfect place for swimming and fishing.
The camping cabin, directly on the Little Pigeon River, with full bath, kitchenette, outdoor fire pit, and charcoal grill is the perfect option for those who do not like to “rough it”. The cabin has a bunk style queen bed with a top single bed, cable TV, Wifi, refrigerator, and microwave.
We are pet lovers here at Greenbrier Campground. Feel free to bring along your furry baby and enjoy the dog park and walking trails throughout the campground. Please do read our pet rules and regulations section of the website prior to arrival. We want all of our campers to have the best possible experience, even the four legged ones.
