Getting to the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community
The Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community is conveniently located just down the road from Greenbrier Campground! To reach it from our campground, simply turn right onto Pittman Center Road, then take another right onto US 321, which you’ll travel for about 3.6 miles until you reach the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community on the right side of the road at Glades Road. It makes for a great day trip when you go camping with us at Greenbrier Campground!
Hands-On Experiences
Not only can you browse these one-of-a-kind pieces of art, you can watch them being made as well! Many of the shops in the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community routinely host demonstrations and workshops so you can see exactly how the artwork is made. Watch a potter use a spinning wheel and hands to mold wet clay or see a woodworker carve a unique piece out of a giant log. Some places let guests try their hand at painting, weaving, or pottery. It’s an especially fun experience for families!
